As a professional contributor to this group I wanted to take a minute and thank all of the other pros who lurk and contribute here. We've survived another tax season and still managed to give our advice and guidance for free, on our time, to help those that needed it.

The professionals who contribute here are to be congratulated for their exemplary work. Most all of us either have working practices to operate or are involved in some from of volunteer work, some as VITA volunteers and others in various capacities. This forum would not be possible without their continuted support.

For the record - I am nobody special when it comes to this forum, I'm not the creator or moderator or anyone else who might be mistaken for being in charge of anything here. I'm just a regular professional contributor like so many others here, many of whom I know share my concern and desire to help - as evidenced by their continued support of this forum.

To all those who contribute, professional and volunteer alike, as well as to all those who had problems or issued who came here for help -

THANK YOU and have a GREAT Summer!

In keeping with the spirit of the site, I edited the post to make it a question and then marked it "Community Wiki". Thanks for the post though and thank you to everyone who has helped to make this site a viable resource! – TaxQueries Apr 27 at 18:47

Nice post. I know I could not make a tax season without help from the various forums I hang out in, and I also know I'm enough of a "tax addict" to stop wanting to check out these places and try to answer questions or learn something new. And I usually do so daily!

Helen, you have been a great asset to this site. Thank you so much for your contributions! Now, if only I could figure out some way to get you to VOTE the questions up and down... ha ha ha. Dare to dream. ;-) – TaxQueries Apr 27 at 21:03
LOL, I did vote up a few. And yes, I like to leave them (you) wanting more! :) – Helen EA in PA Apr 28 at 0:14
And bribes work! :):) – Helen EA in PA Apr 28 at 0:15

Wait! Please don't go away!

For me tax season isn't over until October 15th because all my clients live abroad. I hope everyone continues to keep an eye on the site in the event I need your help. So far it's been a precious source of assistance to me and I can't imagine making it through the next 5 months or so without it!

Thanks, Nichole

Even though crunch time is over for most, I too am year round; many foreign clients, year round services as well. I bet most of us just spend more time here in OFF season than during the 1st 4 months. No fears Nichole...you are in good hands with this site and the vast amount of expertise here. :) – SandySea May 7 at 17:04
Thanks, Sandy. I feel much relieved! – GlobalTaxPartner May 9 at 12:54
