What is an 'LTD' Corporation? The term 'LTD' usually refers to a limited partnership.

Not necessary. In Maryland, corporations can use INC. Co. or LTD. We do.

MD does LTD? I don't think so, an LTD is a foreign entity. I believe this a "liability limited by shares" which is foreign in nature.

An LTD is usually foreign not US and if that is the case, then no 1099 requirements are enforced without either a TIN, ITIN or SSN.

I think this is a European or Canadian LTD. In that case, no reporting is required unless they are required to file tax returns.

Your post makes little sense. If you're asking if you must issue 1099s to those you pay $600 or more to, yes - for 2010 if you've paid an unincorporated entity, for 2011 when you pay ANY one. If you're asking if others must report payments to you of $600 or more, yes.
