I have a PA Single-Member LLC that is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I plan to move to California for two years or so for grad school, and then likely move back.

I would like to avoid paying high Philadelphia taxes if I'm not living there. Also, I would prefer to keep the LLC, rather than dissolve it, since I'm likely returning in only a few years.

If I file for Foreign Qualification in CA will I owe any taxes to PA or Philly while living and working in CA?
